You know how when a domestic terrorist commits domestic terrorism in the US you hear "Lone Wolf"?

All of them committing domestic terrorism and all of it being written off as "lone wolves".

3. I'm a Lone Wolf

and I am irritated by the usurpation of that phrase to mean mentally ill extremists. Just because there isn't a good fit for me in a pack doesn't mean that I'm off plotting murder and mayhem, on small scale or large.

A Lone Wolf is a wolf dispersed from a pack that it doesn't "fit" into. It usually searches for another pack, or searches for others to start a new pack.
