be the ones who have to appropriate the funds. They are the ones who need a close up. The President has promised to sign if they okay the funds. Load Congress on a military transport and let them see the children.

(14,733 posts)I doubt he needs to be there to 'understand' anything he doesn't understand just fine already, but I think it gives the 'Scarboroughs' of the world room to heighten their sniping, and to push his negatives a bit higher with those who don't pay attention to politics. And while he personally won't ever be up for re-election, that will tarnish the Dem brand a bit too.

Those like Perry thinks Obama is responsible for handling all affairs, perhaps someone should tell Perry Congress is responsible for getting funds available to secure the borders and changing a law put into place in 2008. If Obama would continue to issue executive orders Boehner would be running out and filing suit against Obama, Where is the ones who has the guts to step up and take care of business. Perry is trying to run for President, not the man for the job.
