Maybe Lounge material...but how many of your bucket list things have you ticked off?

Of my top ten, about 3...had kids, played Seminole and the last one is too dirty for public discussion.

On edit: I forgot National Golf Links of Ame r ica! The best perk for going all in for Obama in 08. Almost got Bloomberg’s locker. So 4.

I am looking for a fire bucket, milk pail. and a sand pail. But, the last two should probably go on my pail list instead.

I've traveled from Key West to New York as a first mate on a sixty six foot long sport fishing boat.
Driven from south-central Quebec, Canada to Montana and from Maine to New Orleans.

There are many things left on my bucket list including a hot air balloon ride.

and then, depending on how imminent it is, I'll decide what things I want to do before I croak.

So the list of stuff I will probably never get to is way longer than the things I'll ever do.

I got to spend a wonderful childhood in an old mining town that my grandfather raised his family. I got beat down as much as I got propped back up. I didn't get to be an engineer but I was one hell of a technician and diagnostician. I got to spend 29 years with the best woman on the face of the earth. I got to help my parents be comfortable and at home for the last decade or so they were alive.
Hint: That may be the best thing I have ever done in my life. That was probably more positive for me than for them.
There are many things I might have liked to do before I die, but seriously?

We all do what we can with our lives. Never diminish what you have done with your life by thinking about the things you haven't done.
I've told people for decades that I didn't expect or plan to live forever. I could say the t the better part of my life is behind me but I may wake up tomorrow and be thrown a whole new reality that presents me with a whole other set of responsibilities and possibilities that makes me think about the things I want to do rather than those things I need to do.
Either way, I'm happy so far but whatever happens that puts a grin on my face, I'll enjoy it. If it doesn't happen? No problem, I've got a long list of things I've been avoiding for too long.
Now off to read the rest of the thread.
