Discovery Of Human Remains Lead Tulsa Police To Underground Community

TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa police searching a storm drain near 81st Street and Riverside Drive made an interesting find Wednesday, human remains. Now they are trying to figure out who the skull, leg, arm and hand bones belong to.

They believe the unidentified man, died of natural causes and was most likely homeless. While investigating, they stumbled across what seems to be a community, literally underground, that some of Tulsa’s homeless men and women call home.

Their little community shows a lot of ingenuity on their part, but I am concerned about them being in that storm drain area. We get a lot of flash floods in this part of Oklahoma, especially in the spring.
