A new map created by the telecommunications company Broadview Networks shows us each states biggest corporation by annual revenue.
In Massachusetts, the insurance company Liberty Mutual takes the cake. Based in Boston, Liberty Mutual brings in a respectable $38.5 billion in revenue each year.

I must admit that I never heard of it. I expected one of the health care systems.

(26,727 posts)Most people would interpret "what's the biggest company in your state" to mean "what company does the most business in your state" or "what company has the largest payroll in your state"... but companies don't always earn their income (or employ their workforce) in the state where they have their HQ.

(6,261 posts)Oh, but wait... I forgot... They moved their headquarters to Chicago a few years ago, so they're not at all a Washington-based company or anything.
