RimJob's "border rally fizzles out...

Jim Robinson over at Free Republic tried (and failed) to rally his people to "defend the border."

Like so many other grandiose plans like this, nobody showed up.

However, Davis was not the only right-wing extremist calling for militias to head for the Texas border. At the Free Republic – where one of the first “Operation Secure Our Border” bulletins was posted – publisher Jim Robinson posted his own call to action, this time for the California militias to get out there and help support the efforts in Texas.

“Ok, this is just the germination of the plan,” Robinson wrote. “We have independent units from the Bolinas Border Patrol and the Central Valley Citizens militia joining forces with independent citizens militia units of Texas to defend our southern border in Texas, to protest Obama’s lawless open borders policies and to rally support for Governor Perry to officially call out Guard units and Texas militia units at his disposal to defend the border!! Lawsuits will not cut it. The invasion is happening now. Action must be taken NOW!!”

That plan seems to have drawn roughly the same response as Davis’ muster – namely, none at all.

What a maroon. All these asshats are going to accomplish is getting someone killed. Whether it's because they mistake one of their own for an 'intruder' and shoot them in the face, or someone drops a gun and it goes off and shoots someone in the face...it'll happen.

Does this idiot know how long the borders have been open? Not one republican president has done a single thing to fix the problems at the border, not one. Now it's all Obama's fault? What an idiot.

If I am not mistaken when Perry ran for the GOP nomination didn't he brag about what a great job they were doing in Texas on the borders, without the help of the "government"?

Their mission in life was to remove the single road sign pointing to Bolinas. Caltrans finally gave up replacing the sign.

Of late, the Bolinas Border Patrol is into enforcing guerrilla parking rules. I suspect some Teabagger usurped the name because they aren't creative enough to come up with their own name.

New parking tickets for Bolinas

By Christopher Peak
11/07/2013

The Bolinas Border Patrol is cracking down on obnoxious drivers by issuing tickets for those cases of "truculent, selfish or narcissistic parking" that plagues the beach town's streets. The situation has become so dire as to call for Malibu Rules, the hippie’s version of martial law. Parts of Bolinas are following the laws of its "exemplary" sister city to the south in allowing residents to park for extended periods for up to 72 hours in otherwise short-term parking. Why? Because, well, "local residents are special," Michael Rafferty wrote in last week’s issue of the Bolinas Hearsay News. Outsiders will be kept on the move by new timed parking spaces on either side of the post office, so Bolinas residents will finally be able to "pick up your mail, shop for a book, buy a house, purchase dog food and yarn, surf or get some much needed liquor or candy." For those who disobey the rules—blocking emergency or fire access, parking for excessive time or simply being rude or selfish—border patrol members or any other individual will be placing parking violations and citations on car windshields. The accused have a chance to respond with four options that they can mail to the patrol’s parking authority. They are: (1) I plead guilty to narcissistic parking. Please forgive me. I will try to do better next time. (2) Self-assessed fine of $___ enclosed. Funds will be used to maintain clean streets. (3) !#@%* you. Who the #%@* do you think you are? (4) I am special, and my excuse is…. The tickets are available for free at the Bolinas Book Exchange. "Simply put one of these tickets under the windshield-wiper of the offending vehicle, and walk away whistling," Mr. Rafferty said.

Until you posted this, I wasn't sure he was still alive. I don't think he has many followers any more. Conservatives tend to think of him as a crazy old relative that they don't want to visit very often.

A few years back, I read an article about the internal strife of FR and the Robinson family. I was pretty much left with the impression that Jim is an egomaniacal nut and that the rest of the family is just in the whole FR thing to get a free ride from the money marks who donate.

Our last line of defense against the horde of nonwhite child refugees failed when the Rascals puttered out after two miles. Shamed by their defeat, America's patriots hate-pooped themselves a little and packed it in for bingo night.

Five of the six people left on free republic showed up. Unfortunately, they ran out of Dorritos 5 minutes after they arrived and had to leave.
