Drudge Report Sounds The Siren For Obama's High Approval Among Muslims

CATHERINE THOMPSON – JULY 11, 2014, 9:27 AM EDT

The Drudge Report trumpeted a poll finding that President Barack Obama enjoys a high approval rating among Muslims on its homepage Friday.

The conservative aggregator linked to a Politico article on a newly released Gallup poll, which found that 72 percent of Muslims approved of the job Obama was doing in the first six months of 2014.

That's more than any other religious group by a large margin: Obama's job approval was lowest among Catholics at 44 percent, Protestants or other Christians at 37 percent and Mormons at just 18 percent, according to the survey. Gallup noted that the Obama's job approval breakdown by religious group has remained consistent throughout his presidency, however.

Bad math in this article. Catholics approve of Obama more that most, but it says least. onehandle Jul 2014 #5

9/11 had a huge impact on Americans and it will take some time to completely trust again (as a whole country). The longer time goes by the better the attitude will be.

So it doesn't matter. They can slander him all they want now. I'm 99% sure we'll run a white male in 2016 so all their racism will fly back in their own faces.

'Obama's job approval was lowest among Catholics at 44%' but it says Mormons: 18%, etc...
