1. I guess you would have to define what you mean by the notion of society?

It is a different way of organizing society that's for sure.

Is society just an organization of people with an idea of how you are supposed to act within that organization? If so - well, we've seen shifts before. From societies organized around the local church to societies organized around the town hall for example.

The problem with a society organized around a corporation is that most corporations have abstractly cruel values - they exist to create more profit for the shareholders by any means necessary. Those aren't sustainable values.
