a can of blue paint spilled all over the South-and these are the states that are receiving more tax money returned than they pay into the federal coffers. However, what is really scary is the overall change in 10 years-all those states slipping into the poverty shades. I can't make out ONE state that improved over that time period.

~40% of all the nation's production, the lowest population of any state adds up to high median incomes. But, Wyoming also leads in the gender pay gap. Not many women in the high paying jobs on drilling rigs and in the coal mines.
