Israel 'Pinpoint' Strikes Kill Mostly Gaza Innocents — Entire Families Wiped Out

By Noah Browning
Published July 12, 2014.

Israeli military’s “pinpoint strikes” on houses in Gaza have killed whole families and children but few of the wanted men they are meant to target because they have long made themselves scarce, Palestinian residents say.

After five days of cross-border barrages between Gaza militants and Israel’s air force, at least 81 of the 121 Palestinians killed have been civilians, including 25 children, according to Palestinian medical officials.

While relatively few militants and even fewer of their commanders have been killed, according to Hamas sources and media reports, Israel appears more determined than in previous wars to bring the fight to their homes in the densely populated enclave hugging the Mediterranean coast.

Kin, neighbors and others who deny any ties to militants have been most often in the firing line of Israel’s assaults.

“I still can’t believe this happened, it’s like a bad dream,” said Shadi Hamad, standing in the demolished courtyard of a family home with tearful relatives.

Because on this planet might is right and only a few folks are charged for war crimes.
This is nearly 70 years of madness.

Witness the Prime Minister of my country (Canada) spouting off *again* with praise for this same, repetitive, abuse of whole populations. *Unanimous* applause from the USA.

The Palestinian people are well and truly fucked.

In Gaza, the death toll rose to at least 167, fueling international alarm over the lopsided casualty count. The U.N. says the majority of the victims have been civilians. Seventeen members of one extended family were killed late Saturday when a home and nearby mosque were hit. More than 1,000 people have been injured.

It's considered a virtue that "US blood" isn't spilled, that drones rather than "boots on the ground" are de rigueur, and enemy body counts are vanished from the MSM. Then there're all the picky details about how "terrorists" are counted in the bloodbaths that follow. Total air dominance (NO air opposition) is mandatory.

It's the way of the present and future, totally bipartisan.
