Long-time DUers surely remember the Plaid Adder, one of the true greats to inhabit this board. My favorites of her posts are far too numerous to list the links, but anyone who is curious (or who just misses her as much as I do) can do a simple site search to find many examples of her wonderful writing.
Come back, PA! You are sorely missed and much needed.

(6,589 posts)I was very active here years ago, under a different name, & I loved the Plaid Adder. When her book came out (Snake Bites) I had to buy it. I just went to the book case & pulled it off the shelf. Think I'll dust it off & read it again!
Plaid rocks!

I still miss her and wish she would come back.
So, I have been around DU since I got a link from Tom Tomorrow in the early days of Howard Dean. Plaid Adder was good reading, and I looked forward to the old model. Top 10, Plaid Adder, the very old DU.
So, I created an account just to say this. I too miss you. Come back sometime.

(4,616 posts)One of the all-time most intelligent poster, she belongs in the DU Hall of Fame! (I've been here since early 2002, so I've seen a lot of great posters, but truly she is as good as the best or better!)

(62,325 posts)to DU in the early days, are gone. I guess they've moved on to bigger audiences where there is less bickering and more substance as there used to be here.
I'm sure she is writing as always for a bigger audience also.
