The mathematics of "Divide & Conquer".

One thing the 1% will never be is the 99% or even the majority. In order to get what those spoiled brats (to say the least) want in a supposed democratic society they had to figure out how to WIN the elections and plant their puppets as desired. Divide & conquer is actually an easy method of controlling groups or herds of sheeple. Pitting one group against the other using memes that appeal to their basic emotions such as fear easily cuts the majority into halves at least or even other fractions. Then those who have the money to pay their campaign contingents or workers can use any and/or all methods to tweak the election to their favour. Groups will be working on tipping the scales towards their choice by for examples; redistricting, voter limitations such as voter ID and restrictions that make it hard for the disabled and elderly to get to the polls, voting machine hacking & discreetly changing "a few" votes for their candidates and as we have seen in WI districts "losing" several hundred or thousands of votes which then suddenly reappear towards the end of counting the votes.
Campaign ads will reek of emotion laden attack memes not based at all on facts but proofs will never be provided or even necessary for their target voters. Industrial and political scientists will present issues that are proven to mobilize the sheeple to vote their desired way.
All that is necessary is to tip their half far enough to win the majority and that number can be small. You may notice that many of the contested political battleground campaigns poll around 50/50 during the campaign period. This means the candidates present a public picture that ensures that their candidate just may win. Their candidate may win by a slight margin, maybe even one or two percent or even, on recount a few hundred votes. As long as the scales are tipped by ANY MEANS in their favour they will win.
