. . . anymore than Grimes or any other candidate Warren is campaigning on behalf of and fundraising for would be wrong in returning those political favors?

. . . yes, most people know that ReadyforHillary is a grassroots expression of support for a Hillary Clinton candidacy.

It's not controlled, directed, or initiated by her. By law, she can have no coordination with the group at all, so, this is a gesture by her supporters.

. . . of course, only Hillary supporters get treated with such derision and disdain around here, so, open-season on this worthy effort, I guess.

I'm not arguing against it.

You, most certainly, are arguing for it.
I think that's cool too.

. . . there's zero chance of my supporting Hillary in another primary. She was my third choice in the last election and Obama was my fourth.

Lately, her focus has been so utterly calculated and politically geared toward establishment politics that I have absolutely no interest in any campaign of hers.

Why bother to post anything favorable about her, you might ask? Well, to understand that, you'd need to recognize that folks post here with more interest than politicking. I get a bug up my nose from reactions to her supporters here and it just stinks of bullying - and I absolutely abhor bullies.

I don't have much of a problem with folks labeling her politics as centrist, corporatist, or whatever; and I'm sometimes inclined to join in the criticism and have done so, from time to time.

I draw a firm line on supporters though, and most of my reactions come as a result of what I view as over-the-top politics that seeks to divide Democrats among ourselves and unfairly characterizes her supporters with the same biased and subjective brush that I think we should reserve for the candidates themselves.

I'm sure all of that just goes right over some folks' heads, but that's their problem. Hillary supporters aren't one-dimensional as they're portrayed here; Hillary's defenders on some things aren't one-dimensional either. That should be obvious, but not every defense of the nonsense that flies around here is part of some campaign.

I realize that's probably more explaining than you bargained for when you made your very innocuous comments, but it's something which I think this late night can bear.

. . . night, delrem.
