Florida father who beat up son’s alleged attacker speaks out

Daytona Beach, FL (WESH/CNN) – A Florida father who beat up his son’s alleged rapist has been hailed as a hero by many.

But he says his son is the one who is a true hero.

“My immediate feeling was to kill him so he will never hurt anyone again,” the father said.

We don’t identify child abuse victims or their relatives to protect the family.

Later in the article, it says the son (victim) stopped the father when the father went to get a butcher knife.

1. The rapist got off lucky

I doubt very many parents, catching someone in the act of raping their 11 year old child would have stopped with just a beating.

Since the rapist admits to raping the child, "alleged" does not apply.
