<Fox News viewers are less informed than people who don't watch any news, according to a new poll
from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

The poll surveyed New Jersey residents about the uprisings in Egypt and the Middle East, and where
they get their news sources. The study, which controlled for demographic factors like education and
partisanship, found that "people who watch Fox News are 18-points less likely to know that Egyptians
overthrew their government" and "6-points less likely to know that Syrians have not yet overthrown
their government" compared to those who watch no news.>

Rush, Fox, and so on is "comfort food" to those on the right because it reinforces what they already
"know." An attorney I know will not seat anybody on a jury if they listen to Rush not because of their
politics but because he has found that their minds are closed to listening to the facts.

5. Russia claims the US doesn't have the evidence to linking it to MH17.

Since it's not 100% proven that this is the case, there's doubt.

If there's doubt, it's not proven. 99% doesn't count. "Beyond reasonable doubt" doesn't count. 100% or zero.

They want there to be no link. Therefore their standards of proof become nearly impossible.

Others simply aren't going to say if Russia's linked or not. They may not care, they may want to avoid a linkage, but their response is to not examine the information carefully enough to draw a conclusion. No conclusion drawn means you can't say.

"It's unproven" is where you wind up if you either don't pay attention or think a belief is necessary and set standards of evidence and proof unrealistically.
