Either we pissed off "GOD" or "EXTRATERRESTRIALS"

Creationist Ken Ham: End the space program or go to Hell

On Sunday, Ken Ham, president and founder of the creationist organization Answers in Genesis (best known for debating Bill Nye), wrote a blog post calling for the end of the U.S. space program.

Why? Well, according to Ham, who also runs the Creation Museum in Kentucky, there’s no point in spending money on finding extraterrestrial life for a couple of reasons:[a=1,b=2,c=3,d=4,f=5,g=6,h=7,i=8,k=9,l=11 etc.] First, the search is a deliberate rebuking of God, and second because aliens are already damned to hell.

We've already peeved off God by discovering that dinosaurs existed and that the Sun does not, in fact, revolve around the Earth. Now we're going to go out and discover alien species? Non-Christian alien species? Microbes on Europa that were never given the gift of salvation? No sir, we must engage our maximal level of eyes-shutting, lest we see that. We may have to use glue or staples, just so none of us are tempted to peek.

extra terrestrials (other than the Trinity, the angels and archangels and Satan and his lot, of course).

No, then all that stuff doesn't exist either. The universe is just Satan's matte painting.

If his stance is supposedly a Christian one, then something in the Bible should say something like the only life created by God is on Earth" or words that convey that meaning.

On the other hand, if nothing in the Bible negates the existence of extra-terrestrials, what is his supposedly religious claim based on?

He seems to believe that the search for extra-terrestrials is really only an effort to prove evolution.

I did not read far enough to see how he connects those dots, but anyone with more curiosity about this and more patience than I have can give following his logic a try.

Revelation 7:1
"After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth"

We need to push Ken Ham off the edge.

He dared to point his infernal instrument (telescope) toward the heavens. Mighta peeked under an angel's robe or something.
