Hunting on the Border. A Right Wing perspective..................

Hunting on the Border. A Right Wing perspective.

Depending on which "news" source you follow the U.S. Sothern border faces a humanitarian crisis involving large numbers of unaccompanied minors seeking shelter from hostel, life threatening conditions in their home countries. Other "news" sources would have you believe that the U.S. is under invasion by masses of eight year old terrorists blighting local communities with everything from chicken pox to head lice.

Either condition could be easily dealt with by this first world country were it not for one thing.
GOP obstructionism.
Temporarily suspend a law requiring extensive bureaucratic involvement required to process these individuals.
Blocked by GOP obstructionism.
Funding to speed the processing of these people to facilitate either their return or introduction into a new environment.
Blocked by GOP obstructionism.

Once again the GOP proves that the federal government is of no value by causing the federal government to be of no value.
This is not to say that in keeping with the right of the people to defend the boarder various branches of the GOP have not formed their own solution to the problem.

Hunting on the Border. A Right Wing proposal.

10 Active Militia Teams Patrolling Texas/Mexican Border

The armed individuals are seen posing at campsites, walking along the Rio Grande while speaking with Border Patrol agents, and pointing rifles and pistols out of frame. A spokesperson for the group provided the photos under the condition that members’ faces be blurred because of fear of being identified by “cartel and gang members".

In an interview with the Express-News last month, Chris Davis, commander of the militia’s Operation Secure Our Border: Laredo Sector, who is seen in some of the photos, said members would secure the border in a “legal and lawful manner.”
In 21-minute YouTube video that has since been deleted, Davis said: “How? You see an illegal. You point your gun dead at him, right between his eyes, and you say, ‘Get back across the border or you will be shot.’”

Hunting on the Border. A new Right Wing sport.

Minuteman Gilchrist: New Volunteers to 'Peacefully' Patrol Border

A founder of The Minuteman Project told Newsmax TV on Monday that he's reviving his citizens' border-patrol movement years after it collapsed amid infighting and scandal.

Although rife with right wing talking points the video is well worth watching as under intense questioning by the interviewer, Jim Gilchrist reassures us that his vigilantes will operate under the rule of law.

At about nine minutes into the video Gilchrist explains that if law enforcement does the "good thing" and back off as they did in Murrieta Ca. or the Bundy Cow-Pie rebellion there would be no problem.

Does that not reassure you?

Hunting on the Border. The Right Wing final solution.

To forget is to accept.
