GOPPERS Make It Clear Domestic Poverty Programs Should Go To Churches & Charities.

The latest rhetoric by GOPPERS in Congress is that poverty programs should be able to go to churches and non profit charities as well as private contractors because they will be privatized and subcontracted. You can save money on counselors with churches and charities because volunteers work for free. And other savings can be used for private contractors who pay their counselors about $10 an hour while pocketing 40% profit at least.

In the end where churches are involved you can be retrained and SAVED all at the same time. Talk about a double whammy.

And the poor and vulnerable will be screwed again. And the program will be nothing more than a harassment program like welfare reform. And these poor will be forced to take minimum wage jobs to no where.

As a former Department of Labor employee I can tell you these proposals are nothing more than a criminal scam.

Only judged to be deservedly poor. Personally, I don't want a pastor to make charity decisions with public money.
