Scarborough's back in the studio this morning. Where's he been?

He made some vague comments about it early in the show, jokingly calling it a 'sabbatical.'
Anybody know if he was suspended or something? Restraining order? Double secret probation?

11. I wonder if M$NBC reads DU and sees how we don't like him. Phil decides to see how the ratings go

without Joe for a couple of weeks. It will be hilarious if the ratings went up with only Mika running the show. We'll never know though...

2. It's odd that they never seemed to offer any lip service about why he wasn't on the air

In the past there's usually been a generic explanation at the beginning of the show if Joe or Mika aren't on-air....vacation, family health, etc...

I don't recall any level of explanation during this current period when Joe was not at work. That said, it's gotten to the point where the show is so intolerable when he is on the air that I'm content whenever he's off duty (whatever the reason).

4. Right. And I tried not to think about it much for fear of jinxing it.

"Obama is a failed President." J. Scarborough 7/31/14

As I turned it off I was reminded why I don't watch that crap.

And never forget the dead intern in Joe's office.

8. The clown is still trying to defend McDonnell's money grab during his term as VA governor

Whether McD's behavior was technically legal at the time seems irrelevant compared to the standard ethical questions it raises.

But leave it to Joe to defend his old Congress buddies regardless of their actions.

Watching the previous night's Colbert Report and/or Daily Show on DVR is a much better way to start the day.

it looks. They actually think putting another right-wing hack in there will do them any good? Only someone that will call out the bullshit will bring that show back, at least as far as I'm concerned. They do have a real problem now though. Catering to FOX "News" worshippers will bite them in the ass. If they were to now put someone capable of going right down the middle on, right-wingers will be screaming librul bias! They are just too used to being told what they want to hear. Anything else is just all lies.

No more of that, 'body being found' stuff slowing down his professional aspirations.
