I think Mr. Obama is ready to rumble, but I could be wrong. Time to come out swinging Mr. president, if you truly want a democratic majority in congress. Bipartisanship with political terrorists is a lost cause. I think the American people and history will be on your side, for doing something, against a sea of do-littles, across that ever widening aisle, under the people's dome.
If you want to win, you really do need an honorable coalition. The American people are tired of those losing losers and hypocrites on the dark side of the aisle, sabotaging the will of the people and representing only the wealthy 2% instead of the 100%.

(28,394 posts)I think the President should do a whistle-stop tour and "give 'em hell" like Harry did!

(37,726 posts)The buck for the great truth telling of 2014, rests at Mr. Obama's doorstep. If the president wants multiple majorities, he must get out and fight for it. We gave him the bully pulpit twice and it's up to Mr. Obama to take every advantage of the voter's sacred gift to him. Help us repair our country Mr. President. Get out there every day, on the road, or on our TVs and campaign like the fate of the nation IS at stake. Define reality for the American people, at every opportunity. Let the people know that half of the US House and Senate are there to represent only the 2%, that they are so totally beholden to. 100% of our congress is supposed to represent 100% of the American people. We the people, are growing tired of being on congressional "Ignore" 24/7...

Women have more to lose with republicans in charge.

(47,953 posts)So I think that is a pretty good sign that he should.
The most important thing, at least in my opinion, is that Democrats need to offer people solutions, to say what they will do if we can get the repubs out of power in congress. Don't just use fear to motivate. Even if just holding the Senate is possible, say what they will try to do.

(16,844 posts)If we get another GOP House and God forbid, a GOP Senate, he can forget about doing anything for the rest of his term. He will be the lamest of lame ducks. Has he finally realized that he can't reach far enough across that aisle without going to the other side? He needs to start raising hell now, and he shouldn't stop. If he really has any good intentions, he'll do that much.

(37,726 posts)Let's see if he's a real campaigner or not...DO SOMETHING Mr. Obama! Sitting down and shutting up and letting the GOP take over Washington is a threat to our national security.

(51,076 posts)People love him where ever he goes. No need to put up a no protest zone nor even let the locals know he's on the way because he is loved by most of us and will be greeted with open outstretched loving arms.
If he comes around here and I'll damn sure have his back and theres a lot of people like me out here.
He has me fired up and ready to hit the ground in helping in getting people out to vote come November.

(37,726 posts)And that generates total hatred among the Reich wing. Ask Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.
The GOP hates and fears anyone who speaks of anything, approaching the truth or reality.
