Is Kentucky in the South?

One of my pet peeves is a southern Democrat who can't help but turn a gathering into a camp meeting, and invoking dead relatives watching over us, and God and Jesus this-and-that.

Alison Grimes didn't or at least refrained, and I appreciate and recognize this in a true fellow Democrat! She also has a progressive populist bent. No wonder she called on Elizabeth Warren to campaign!

A star!

She was able to streamline all the paperwork required to start up a small business in the state of Kentucky.

She gets better every time I hear her speak.

I think she is great!

Here in the eastern part of the state, we're more like the South.

Southeastern and Eastern Kentucky are much like the South. I don't know if it is because we are the poorest part of the state?

The nation's crossroads and within a day's drive of like 3/4 the population of the country.

I like Allison and committed to help with her campaign yesterday because I'm a Mitch hating motherfucker but I think she isn't particularly liberal, just seems that way in comparison and I suspect strongly that she will often piss me right off (to tight with and indebted to the Clintons).

That said, she'll be an astronomical upgrade from McConnell and that is good for Kentucky and for America.

...and I am not sure that isn't a good thing at this time.

In some way, she reminds me of a female JFK... the "independence" part. I think she will be a leader of the women's political movement in this country. I've liked what I have heard her say in her speeches.

This race in Kentucky could be a game changer. New Democratic Senator, take out the Number One Republican leader.

If money makes a difference - and you all have seen what Alison Grimes can do with 30 seconds - maybe this is where our money can matter.

WE need to Koch Brother Mitch McConnell!
