"Turns out, George Zimmerman NOT working as a security guard. Patrolling on his own."

From Daily Kos:

Pat Johnson told Local 6 that Zimmerman is not an employee of his DeLand store Pompano Pat's, which sells firearms, ammunition and motorcycles.

Johnson said that Zimmerman, on his own accord, has been spotted outside the store since the robbery earlier this month. The thieves stole rifles worth up to $5,000 and two mini-bikes, according to Johnson.

"I didn't OK it. I didn't know about it. I didn't authorize it. I didn't pay for it," Johnson said. "He had just watched Facebook and the news and just took it upon himself to come up here and sit."

In days gone by, he'd be the slightly "off" guy wearing a cape, and directing traffic with a flyswatter, before the police gently return him to his Momma's house. ..

Now, he's just another dangerous gun nut with one confirmed (and court-affirmed) kill..

He was damn lucky to have been acquitted for killing Travon Martin - basically, he was saved by a combination of corrupt investigation and incompetent prosecution. So, after managing to avoid the long prison sentence he deserved, you'd think he'd have enough sense to keep a very, very low profile and avoid any circumstances that could get him into more legal trouble.

Buuut noooooooo.

He's setting himself up for the same kind of disaster. He's lurking outside a gun and bicycle shop (weird combination, kind of like a bait and pizza shop), just hoping somebody will come by and try to burgle the place so he can nab them, turn them over to the cops, and be the big hero, at last. What is just as likely to happen is that some black kid in a hoodie who hasn't done a damn thing will be taking a shortcut behind the store and Zimmerman will shoot him. I think it would be advisable to completely avoid the area near that store, especially if you're a black kid in a hoodie.

Must now be thinking...hey, they should have locked him up...at least for his own safety...let's just hope his downfall (from even farther than he is) doesn't involve taking anyone else with him.
