Stranger and stranger - KSDK is reporting that Dorian Johnson has admitted through

his attorney that he and Michael Brown did rob the store, but apparently no other news service has picked up this story.

BTW - Even if he did rob the store, summary execution in the street is not the penalty.

2. The Police Chief just indicated that they found nothing to

indicate that Dorian Johnson was involved in the alleged incident at the Convenience Store.

3. The story is credited to an MSNBC interview this morning, but I didn't see

this on the MSNBC home page.

I just checked the KSDK link, and I think the word "reportedly" was added to the story. I wouldn't swear to that in court.

5. I think someone at KSDK got excited and didn't listen carefully -

I think what the attorney actually said was that Dorian Johnson was walking down the street with Michael Brown just before the shooting.

6. Immunity for cooperation?

What's more important, nailing a murderer or solving a robbery?

9. yeah that makes zero sense

there is no reason for Dorian to all of a sudden volunteer information incriminating himself to the same goddamn police department that just killed his friend!!!

These people think we are so stupid!

8. But Chief Jackson just said that Dorian Johnson was not being charged because their

investigation determined that he broke no laws.

14. Yet, in the packet he gave out this morning, on page 5 of the PDF

it states that Dorian J. Johnson is the 2nd suspect identified in the robbery. This is such a cl*sterf*ck. Since this is a felony (strong-armed robbery) don't "accessories to crimes" get in the same trouble as the actor?

11. This is an AP, not KSDK story, but the AP has revised this report into a larger one

Police identify officer, allege teen robbed store

15th or so paragraph

The Aug. 9 video appears to show a man wearing a ball cap, shorts and white T-shirt grabbing a much shorter man by his shirt near the store's door. A police report alleges that Brown grabbed the man who had come from behind the store counter and "forcefully pushed him back" into a display rack.

Johnson, Brown's friend, told investigators that Brown "did take cigarillos," his attorney, Freeman Bosley, told MSNBC. Bosley said he was aware of video but had not seen it.

Police have determined that Johnson was not involved in the robbery and will not seek charges against him, Jackson said.

12. As of 5 EDT, even Fox isn't carrying this story, so I suspect it is only a rumor.

13. That's quite a stretch.

The AP is not the same as trash tabloids, and I doubt that they would put words into the mouth of a well known (former mayor of St. Louis) attorney who is Johnson's attorney.
