that it won't take a lot to radicalize.

It is easy to get caught up in a damn crusade and one that spirals with no way out other than to just do it.

I just want to get that straight. It's just that we should pretend like we didn't see it, and then everything's okay? I'm confused about the position on that.

And by the way: the strikes started weeks ago, before Foley was killed. So our actions there are not revenge for him. There are many thousands who have been harmed, and that was the ostensible reason for the renewed strikes.

My question is simply (and I myself do not know the answer to this): under what circumstances, if any, would it be proper or advisable to take military action. Was it wrong in World War II? Would you have opposed FDR's dragging us into that war, in which we killed many innocent people? Is there ever a just cause for military action? (And yes, any military action will result in the deaths of some innocent people.)

I'm not condoning anything here; but neither am I condemning it. I'm just figuring things are a lot more complex in life than people would like to make them.

The whole point of this is to be provocative. These guys would dearly love for somebody to please bring them some Americans or other westerners to fight.
