Woman shot during protest called 911 multiple times, says police response lacking

FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A Ferguson woman who was shot in the head last Tuesday during early moments of a peaceful Michael Brown protest said she is still waiting for police to take action.

“No officer ever showed up to speak with me... neither from Ferguson police or St. Louis County," Mya Aaten-White told News 4.

Last Tuesday evening Mya Aaten-White says she was walking down West Florissant to get back to her car. Before she made it to her car, violence erupted.

“I made it a block and a half then I heard gunshots, I put my hands to my head and realized I had been shot in the forehead,” she said.

1. Not all that surprising given the situation there at the time. .

If the 'fire'em all' crowd get their way police response times will be horrible for years to come...

2. Not at all surprising they collected the "Evidence" and claim they never had it

which implicates the police dept.

If that is what you want in your town then what ever you do don't move to my town - you won't like the results

4. If all these protesters were supposedly shooting guns at cops

how come no cops were ever hit? I mean they were lined up en mass, you couldn't miss them if you tried. Yet magically, no cop was shot. Amazing.

Then the cops "lose" the bullet from the protester who was shot.

6. The only people I saw waving guns at people were the cops

So I'd have to suspect the cops were the ones that shot her.

They would have an interest in preserving the evidence if that wasn't the case.

7. And a vested interest in losing the evidence if a cop shot her

Simply Corruption and Bigotry beyond belief in this day and age of lightening fast internet driven news and social media.

5. She should have told them she was a banker.

Help would have come from miles away.
