The Iowa GOP loves it when major GOP assholes come to prop up their candidates, regardless of how many legal troubles they are facing at the time.

So it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Transvaginal Bob comes to Iowa to campaign for Ernst, Blum, Governor Brainfart, etc etc...

If he thought about his wife, he would have taken the plea deal the prosecutors offered that would have him copping to one--just one--charge, with his wife going free. But no. He decided to roll the dice with his ridiculous love-crazed wife defense. Why? because if he plead guilty to a felony, he'd be disbarred and wouldn't be able to run for office. Douchebag.

Sentenced to twenty, behaves himself (probably be to scared to do anything but try countless back to back appeals), gets good behavior and out in ten.
Or
Sentenced to twenty, appeals out in three.

The loss for his license to practice law only keeps him from representing others. A good attorney can still do quite a bit behind bars.

Imagine his first night in prison:

"Hi, my name's Bob."
'Animal.'
"So, Animal, whatcha in for?"
'I broke nine laws you signed. None of it was illegal before you took office. And I swore if I ever met the motherfucker who did me, I was going to have about twelve guys beat him to within an inch of his life, and he'll never know when we decide to move on him. So...here you are. Have a nice night.'

There'd be no need to assault him. He'll die due to sleep deprivation before the month's out.

custody of not just his wife's vagina, but the rest of her, too.

And he's lost access, not just because they'll be jailed separately, but because he turned on her when she wasn't even the elected official.

Not saying she's innocent, but it was his career that put her in jail.

And the best part is he's already understanding how it feels to say, "But I didn't do anything wrong" when the state leans in to punish him. Just like the women he wanted to assault with an electric machine, for not doing anything wrong.
