Another unarmed man murdered by Police in cold blood in California

Perez's family says the accusation that Perez was "reaching for the officer's gun" is ridiculous and untrue. They plan to sue the city.

Witnesses: Officer stepped back, gunned down California man outside liquor store
TRAVIS GETTYS * 22 SEP 2014 * Raw Story

Family members plan to sue the police officer who shot an unarmed 24-year-old California man last week outside a liquor store. Richard “Pedie” Perez was shot to death Sept. 14 by Richmond police Officer Wallace Jensen after he refused to show his identification.

A clerk called police to report that Perez, who had been drinking earlier in the evening at a party, had gone behind the counter and grabbed a bottle of Hennessy cognac without paying. Police said at least one independent witness can back the officer’s claims, but Perez’s family said other witnesses dispute the police account.

Everyone has said consistently said that he did not reach for the officer’s gun and the officer stepped back five feet away and emptied five shots into his young body,” said civil rights attorney John Burris.

In all those videos of incidents you see consistently that the officers constantly yell "stop resisting" even when the person is obviously not.
I am sure its part of their training to get that on tape so they can claim the person was resisting.

Likewise, In a recent incident, there was a video of one of the officers beating a guy saying he had reached for his gun when the video showed clearly he was already on the ground with the officer beating him up.

They must be yelling those things on purpose to get it on tape.

3. Exactly! This is nothing other than getting away with cold-blooded murder

often in broad daylight, with camera videos filming. The cops are feverishly scrambling
to keep ahead of the technology via social media. There is even a "market" for "special
training" on how to get away with murdering citizens.

William Pitt just posted this: "Winning with the Media" while commiting murder.

6. "after he refused to show his identification"

it would be more accurate to write "after he started a fight with a police officer" http://www.ktvu.com/news/news/crime-law/police-investigating-fatal-officer-involved-shooti/nhMZF/

If the cop had had a partner there would likely have been no shooting, but budget cuts doncha know.

Too bad the store owner just watched instead of trying to help, but lawsuits doncha know.

and you have video evidence that corroborates the assertion
"he was murdered"
"after he refused to show ID"

or is it only when police are being defended that there must be absolute video proof?

To write a line like "he was shot after he refused to show ID" makes it sound like there was NO physical altercation, only a refusal to show ID.

words and stuff, not just pictures to look at

"Cameras only provide a partial view of the fight between the officer and suspect but the video shows Delik watching the scuffle from the doorway while another customer walks by."

"a fight"
"a scuffle"

and two witnesses to that.

NOT just a "refused to show ID".

9. The cop had to kill that drunk fella, had to make his quota.

They hadn't killed a drunk person in seven years! Way overdue. YAY COPS THEY ARE THE GREATEST at murdering people in cold blood.
Worried about getting mugged in America? More likely to be murdered by a militarized cop that has no respect for human life.

I went down there in 2007 to apply for a job. During the ride along portion of the process, I was shocked at what I heard. The Sgt I rode with said (when we saw three black males walking down the street and as he raised his hand as a gun), "bang, bang, bang. We should have full rights to just gun down niggers on sight." I said, "sir, I don't believe that is appropriate and would appreciate it if you'd stop with that kind of language." Then a few hours later when we were standing around with other cops outside a gas station, the Sgt tells the other guys, "this guy here thinks he wants to work here but is a nigger lover." They all proceeded to give me a ration of shit. At that point, I ended the ride along.

The next morning at my interview, I spoke at length about what was said during my ride along and chastised the department for their behavior. The Lt. at the interview ended the interview at that point and showed me the door. I never went back.
