Okay so I posted earlier my controlled civil response to my Republican friend

who said she is sick of life liberals calling Republicans women haters.

here's what my emotions wanted me to say:

Your sick of all Republicans being labeled as anti woman?

You want to know what I am sick of, well here goes:

I am sick of all women who stand up for women's rights being labeled as man hating, penis envying, baby killing, prostitute,**itches.

I am tired of being called "soft on crime" just because I believe someone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and self defense is only a viable excuse if the other person is actually threatening someone's life. Just thinking they will because of the color of their skin, even though they are unarmed doesn't cut it, the word for such action is MURDER.

I am tired of getting accused of "playing the victim" card when I point out the injustices I have faced because I had the audacity to be born with a vagina instead of a penis.

I am tired of being accused of voting liberal because I just want "everything free and think it should be handed to me."

I am tired of being called a taker because of a legitimately recognised disease that is part genetic/part environmentally caused that prevents me from working, and that I am living high off your hard work despite the fact that I did work and work hard when I could, and paid into the system without complaint when I was able. I am tired of people thinking that I am living high off the hog off of what little compensation I receive back on that investment.

I am sick of hypocrisy! Where people point out others sins and faults but expect others to ignore theirs.

I am tired of people decrying public handouts while at the same time accepting them. If you have a public school education, you are demanding that you be given that for free, if you are not willing to pay it forward to the next generation.

What I am really tired of though is people assuming that hard work guarantees fair compensation. That if you just work hard enough, and you didn't have to pay taxes you too can be a billionaire. BULLSHIT. My dad, a Republican worked every single day of his life. Worked until he was eighty years old, worked until he had a stroke, yet Assholes like Mitt Romney, who never really worked a day in his life, who got rich off other people's labor dare imply my Dad wasn't a billionaire because he didn't work hard enough. HOW DARE HE! HOW DARE EVERY ONE OF YOU! Even if every cent of your taxes was paid back to you, it still wouldn't equal the services you got in return, the amount of money the corrupt Wall Streeters, stole from Main Streeters, or make you a billionaire.

Republicans are big on preaching about pulling your selves up by your own bootstraps and the value of hard work so here's one for You.

TO EARN RESPECT YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO GIVE IT IN RETURN!

I could go on but I won't but that's what I really wanted to say.

They are to the right of conservatives, which you may notice is traditionally the space occupied by fascists.

I am not going to say they are National Socialist fascists (which are Nazis). However there are other forms of fascism, perhaps more benign. Even in its most benign form any concessions to a fascist are not going to be countered with any counter-concession. They will not meet you in the middle so what you end up with, trying to negotiate with a fascist, is that you end up appeasing them.

Posters here have attacked me for that opinion, which I find most curious. But there it is and I am not going to be bullied out of it by some anonymous loser sitting behind a keyboard thinking that attacking me for my opinion is some kind of "victory."

No appeasement. Please do not feed the trolls and all of that.

It is a personality type it seems, authoritarian domination over everything, because well, they are right about everything and what are you going to do about it?

It does make sense that evil greedy sociopathic people would take over the world if we let them, which is why we need to deal with this like we would mental illness.

They must not be enabled, the must be removed from power where they are harming everyone and themselves and they don't even realize it.

They will ruin everything because they are too self serving and blind to care about anyone but themselves.

The will steal from all of us, they want it all, and it still won't be enough.

I miss real conservatives, my grandparents were conservatives.

But the next generation who watched WWII and the demise of fascism,

profited heavily from the economy afterward, became greedy, arrogant and self serving, eventually became what they hated, what we all hate now.

But I agree with you, there is no negotiating with them because no matter how wrong they are, they are always right.

They need to be put in a corner until they work out their personal problems and stop taking it out on the rest of us.

They are not conservatives anymore, or even Republicans as we once knew them. I have friends and family that in their heart are good caring people, yet they allow them selves to be brainwashed into Fox "group" think, and to think the only truly opposed people in this country is the rich white male, even the women among them.

They decry playing the victim card when they are playing it themselves. Some are truly offended when you call their behavior racist, bigoted, or sexist, but have no qualms about acting in a bigoted, sexist, racist manner.

I am in the freaking International Social Science Honor Society for Pete's sake and I still can't understand this type of disconnect.

What ever happened to critical thinking? What ever happened to the common sense reasoning of cause and effect?

these folks are not conservatives ... they are narcissistic and/or just plain greedy; neither of which is a political, or even social, classification.

I'm sick of having my love of country questioned when I say that there are other responses to world problems than US bombs and boots.

I'm sick of listening to anti-scientific, faith-based lies about the environment, warming, pollution, and evolution.

There's more....

I'm sick of the same things, Bigmack! I don't think those assholes who are willfully anti-scientific, faith-based lies about the environment, warming, pollution, and evolution even should deserve a seat at the table, anymore than I think the Flat Earth Society deserves face time in the media to pontificate every time NASA's in the news. Hell, never mind a seat at the table. I don't think they deserve even to be in the same ROOM! In the same BUILDING!!!

You know what I mean -- if she gets snarky and defensive or doubles down. At that point, if she's broadcasting to a list, hit "Reply All."

I did that to a former friend during the Bush-Cheney admin. She passed along offensive RW religio-patriotic spam and I spent a bunch of time researching and crafting a reply. The second time she did it I let loose; but again, I took time to research and craft my rebuttal. I ended with a request to be removed from future mailings.

And you know what? A couple of people I didn't know took the time to write and thank me for standing up to the garbage.

Perhaps a private e-mail rather than a post, because much of will probably be received as an attack on her (as it should be).

I think both sets of responses have their place and thank you for sharing them.
