Why are all the secret service failures coming to light now?

That's what really worries me. I hope it is not the foreshadowing of something worse.

The security breaches are bad. Really bad. But some of them happened years ago, so why are they being disclosed or discussed now?

I always wonder about the timing of these disclosures. I don't believe they are happenstance.

I am so worried about my President's well-being.

I'm concerned that perhaps the agents don't really care much for this President. The same way some of them hated President Kennedy!

I couldn't find an email address for the SS, so I just wrote out a post card asking if "they hate our President" and how they've damaged the reputation of an agency that USED TO BE well respected. "What are you going to do to repair that reputation?"

I don't expect a response, but I hope I'm not the only one who writes to them. I also have a phone #-202-406-5708. I think I'm going to call tomorrow and express my disappointment in their behavior.

the journalist who wrote the stories for Wash. Post said she has been talking with more than one for 1 1/2 months. She listed about 5 reasons such as a return to the respected agency it once was, certain detail are looked down upon etc. She did not mention concern for the President's safety but who knows. She was on Rachel Maddow.

whistle was his/her perception the reputation has suffered. He/she did not come forward because they were concerned about the safety of the President and First Family. And that should make us all very afraid for the President.

This time it's a real issue but it's a also a welcome distraction for the GOP so they can be seen to be doing something for a change.

But something tells me they will conclude it's Obama's fault for not having better oversight. :sigh:

but I can't helped wondering if the President and his family haven't been threatened.
It would explain a lot - particularly Syria (the neo-con wet dream).
