For years I have been saying that many Democrats infantilize the Muslim world. Treating them as children who simply have no choice (due to Israel and US) but to turn to violence with not a word to how they treat their own people. hamas and isil are two sides of the same coin but I wouldn't expect many on DU to acknowledge that fact.

That's bullshit. Show me these posts you claim exist where anyone blamed Israel for Hamas firing rockets at Israel. Or any DUer who's blaming the US for the atrocities carried out by ISIL.

What I have seen only two months or so ago was some DUers blaming Hamas for Israel bombing the shit out of Gaza. Remember that thing where 2000 Palestinians were killed by Israel?

So how about putting blame where blame's due and those who carry out the violence be held responsible for it, and that includes Israel?

I never said they blamed the US for Israel blaming hamas although I'm sure there were plenty of those. I'm talking about what isil and hamas do to their own people which people like yourself seem to ignore on a regular basis by bringing up Israel and the US. Do you think they're good for their people? How about the thousands that isil has killed? Want to blame Israel and the US for that also?

I just find it amusing that while on the one hand you rightly want people to hold groups like ISIS and Hamas responsible for what they do, but don't feel the same when it comes to Israel slaughtering thousands of Palestinians...

I dunno. Maybe if you go back and read what I said and realise you appear to be tilting at strawmen? And then come back with those links to where DUers have blamed anyone but ISIS for the atrocities that have been happening...
