The State of America

We have is a structural problem and I blame it on a couple of people. My mother said years ago that when we stop building stuff we would be in trouble. She couldn't have been more right.

First Ronald Reagan came and dismantled the faith in the government and pitted people against people and people against government. He weakened the concept of a strong federal government. this idea has festered for 35 years and is very damaging to the country. We experimented with a weak central government and that was the articles of confederation and we all know how that turned out.

Then he emboldened the south who always votes in a bloc and now runs the republican party. The idea of an economy in the south is stealing business from the north. Rick perry does that every day. how does stealing business from the north help the country. the south should never be in the mix to decide how we run our economy. they have been and will always care first about the south and then the country. they are and will always be the least patriotic people in America.

"American by birth southern by the grace of God" Do you see that kind of saying anywhere else in the country.

Secondly, Bill Clinton initiated Nafta and the end of Glass Steagall. nice work How did that turn out?

We don't build anything aka low paying jobs. Germany out produces us in finished products with 80 million people and they are not paying minimum wage and driving wages down.

Finally, Business school teaches the same crap that I took in 1970. I looked at UGA business school and it’s the same courses I took and that was based on a manufacturing society. Not a single course on sales and as far as I know no sales no business.

Also shareholder value is all they care about. not running a business to be a great business. One of my friends was at Sun and this "MBA' manager was limiting them to $10. for sushi while they were making money hand over fist and all she could say to everyone was 'share holder value".

Shortsighted. Don't build a business to only care about shareholder value. Thank you modern business school.
