I hope the Doctors figure this all out and that he is completely cured. Then they will have a cure at the ready when someone who actually possess human compassion inevitably ends up suffering from the same illness.

People like me that have worked all their lives then had a major health issues then have to go on Social Security disability before I'm 65 are welfare leeches according to him and his ilk. He is lucky enough to have the money to pay for his health care insurance and bills. But hey I should just not be a leech on the system.

The very best I can muster is a hope that Beck's affliction relegates him to social and historical irrelevance, just as soon as possible.

All the things he lacked when he talked about those who he felt were sucking off the system. He may even learn to appreciate Obama since he will not have to worry about not being able to get insurance with his condition.

psychosomatic. It's wrong to diagnose someone's problem from so little information, but this clown has a record and for me it's not one of illness but of mental problems. He's promised us earth shaking revelations, once-in-a-hundred-years events, world changing movements, etc., and none has come to pass. Now it's time to be very, very sick and enduring it all. Next it will be Bigfoot on an alien ship. It all fits.

Of course, mental problems are very real problems, but they're not ones thousands of people have to be involved with.

He's pulled a lot of crap in the past, so forgive me if I take this story with a truckload of salt.

And if he actually is sick, so are a lot of people who can't afford the treatment they need to recover. I'll save my concern for them.

17. This is one time I've read comments

and one of the best comments I've read today is "How is the insurance company going to code 'Lame PR Stunt?'"

So far it's mild adrenal insufficiency plus a "disease with no name."

Uh, huh.
