The Rams are currently 5-7 and pretty eliminated from the playoffs at this point. So, I wonder if they'd pull this boneheaded stunt if they were leading the NFC West.

(9,350 posts)Lets see what happens if and/or when sales. Maybe this bar is located in a area where few Rams fans live. That may prevent them from seeing a sales dip. However, I wonder if this stance is going to continue of sales slip. I wonder if they will turn around and say, since team officials called the STLPD and apologized the bar will be bringing back happy hour.
It appears the owner of this bar does not realize he is only hurting himself/herself. The owner's ending of happy hour does nothing to hurt the players or the team. As far as I can tell neither the players, the team, nor the owners will lose any money as a result of this decision. The only people who seem to have any chance of losing are the bar owner and that person's family due to reduced revenue.

And I am thinking this may backfire on him. He is counting on everyone being as stupid as he is, and I'm not sure if that's true.
