This Secret Service thing is freaking me out

They were wrong but apparently the "wheels up" parties are a regular thing.
Well, I can understand the *umm* releasing of energy and I never got how people could stay THAT focused 365.

What is wierding me out is the sudden vacuum of leadership and middle management. Not that I have ever been a fan of middle management. But it does play a role.

If anything happpens (the right is stepping all over promoting it) we will hear, "Well you know they whole organization was in a bit of disarray".

Sorry, but it is wierding me out.

about 1975 (don't remember who it was). I was dating a local Seattle cop at the time and the SS invited those who were on the detail when ??? was in town. It was pretty tame but I think we left early. As a matter of fact, I think the SS took off and told the local guys to lock up when they were done.

My boyfriend told me this was standard when the SS came to town.

ETA: I seem to remember the SS being very serious. It's probably a thank you to the local help, but my experience was obviously way different than the one in Colombia.

thousands of more red flags than it did..............How the hell did people without invites to a Presidential Dinner Party get that close to the entryway?

And when President Obama visited Ireland last year or the year before and was handed a cell phone from one of the female crowdmembers? That lady should have been decked before she was able to hand that phone to the President. (Of course, President O shouldn't have reached out to take the phone either..........) But at least the crowdmember's Grandmother got out of talking with President O!

It all seems a little too "manufactured" for my taste.

So much riding on the well-being of one person.

this shit probably goes on all the time. They only got caught because one of the agents wanted to be an ass and not pay his hooker the agreed amount.

7. No, they got caught because the woman went to the police with her complaint..

Something the culture of law enforcement in the US just can't wrap their head around, an American prostitute would never do such a thing because she knows she would be first laughed at and then most likely arrested.

But emotionally they just can't grasp it, they are so used to the status quo in the USA that they can't adapt their mentality to somewhere that different, where a prostitute would have the option of going to the police if she/he is harmed in some way.
