Realistic expectations??

What were your expectations of this President when he was sworn into office?

(Everything must be put into context: We cannot forget the major problems we were facing or were perceived to be facing, such as the collapsing stock market, people losing jobs as many as 750,000 per month, workers losing their homes and savings etc?)

How much did we realistically expect the President to do under those circumstances? And this is where Democrats quibble.

And some might argue that he did not speak up strongly enough for one policy or another or actually continued and expanded policies of the previous Administration?

And some might argue that if he were to walk upon the water, it is because he does not know how to swim. Under almost all circumstances, these Democrats think the President has done a great job?

Which of these expectations are the more realistic?

When he said " I am a New Democrat" during his acceptance speech I immediately said to myself, W...T....F....?

And then I said, oh shit.

The rest is what I expected.
