Something new for 2015.

I just watched the short video below and learned a new way to donate to my favorite charity without spending a penny.

By making www.welzoo.com my home page (which I've just done), every time I go on the internet, their sponsors donate money to a cause of MY choice. How cool is that?

What a great idea! Seriously, check it out. Then ask yourself why you shouldn't do it.

I do love ways to donate without needing money -- and more participation means more donations to our favorite causes.

Happy New Year to you, too!

My budget has no extra money, but I've found ways to donate without it. It takes maybe 5-7 minutes a day and it's a daily routine with my morning coffee.

Here's the updated list from my FB page:

(1) Help fund great charity projects through Greater Good with a few clicks: www.GreaterGood.com.

(2) Click daily to help Care2 help more great causes: www.care2.com/click-to-donate.

(3) Use Goodsearch to donate to your chosen cause every time you want to "google" at www.goodsearch.com. Donate even more by including the shopping/dining options.

(4) Make Welzoo your home page. Every time you log on, their sponsors will donate to a charity of your choosing: www.welzoo.com.

(5) Survey Monkey will donate $0.50 to your chosen charity every time you complete a survey: https://contribute.surveymonkey.com/how-it-works.

AND, if you're interested in donating actual money to a very worthy cause, please consider Planting Peace. Co-founder, Aaron Jackson, has been named a CNN Hero for his work in de-worming children, founding and maintaining orphanages, rain forest conservation, tree planting, LGBT equality, & peace.

This kind of thing works very well only if many people participate, so... the more the merrier!

If we keep it kicked, it'll get more attention when morning comes & over the weekend.

I suspect people are pretty tapped out by the holidays and end-of-year donations, so a free way to donate should look pretty attractive to many!

Aaaaand, lots of people read and may act without reccing or posting.

My silver didn't come out as pretty as yours.

I'm watching mine too.. and hoping it gets more in the morning, also..

I'm about done in, so will be heading for bed very shortly. Have a good night and I'll "see" you later on!

I recced & added to your other OP, as well. Great article!

PS - I don't code for silver, I code for blue. Why it looks silvery to you must be your monitor? In any case, I hope the line you chose to replicate catches a few imaginations!
