NYDN: EXCLUSIVE: Subway conductor allegedly assaulted by off-duty NYPD cop feared for her life

http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nyc-crime/exclusive-subway-conductor-allegedly-attacked-speaks-article-1.2064483

"The subway conductor allegedly attacked by an off-duty police officer feared for her life during the assault, she told the Daily News Friday.

The 28-year-old victim was walking away from off-duty Officer Mirjan Lolja — who was irate about having to wait 20 minutes for a train — when he charged the transit worker on a Bronx platform two days before Christmas, she said.

Another MTA employee on the platform tried to warn the conductor, but there wasn’t enough time to react, she said."

It's absolutely horrendous what cops get away with. Can you imagine any person in the country, besides cops and Cheney, serving no time or only 11 months for shooting and killing an unarmed, cuffed, on his stomach victim?

...how fast would people be laying blame on de Blasio and labeling the victim a cop-killer?

We'll see how consistent they are with the rules when it comes to the police.

IA won't do a goddamned thing. It's up to the DA to bring that asshole up on charges and see he gets jail time.

There are cameras in most of the trains and on the platforms. Let's hope the cops haven't destroyed all the evidence as they rally around yet another violent fuckhead who belongs in a cage.

From the article:
The officer claims the conductor was the aggressor and grabbed his phone when he tried to take her photograph, sources said.

It seems that cops think they can do whatever they want whenever they want and get away with it! With pay!

Notice he said she tried to grab his gun, I mean phone, before he snapped. He must have had the training to use that justification to do anything just be sure to use that excuse as to why.
