Wasilla, Alaska (The Adobo Chronicles) – The Wasilla Police Department has issued an order to take Sarah Palin’s dog into protective custody after the former Alaska governor was formally charged with animal cruelty.

Is The Adobo Chronicles a bonafide news source or is this just wishful dreaming?

..."all wee-wee'd up"? Sarah doubles down on her stupidity, with more stupidity.

Note: the picture posted by Ellen is not taken by Ellen of someone in Ellen's household, and it's a much smaller child.

Sarah Palin added 9 new photos.

Dear PETA,

Chill. At least Trig didn’t eat the dog.

Hey, by the way, remember your “Woman of the Year”, Ellen DeGeneres? Did you get all wee-wee’d up when she posted this sweet picture? http://conservatives4palin.com/2015/01/peta-woman-year-posts-photo-child-standing-dog.html Hypocritical, much?

Did you go as crazy when your heroic Man-of-Your-Lifetime, Barack Obama, revealed he actually enjoyed eating dead dog meat?

Aren’t you the double-standard radicals always opposing Alaska’s Iditarod – the Last Great Race honoring dogs who are born to run in wide open spaces, while some of your pets “thrive” in a concrete jungle where they’re allowed outdoors to breathe and pee maybe once a day? (http://iditarod.com/ http://www.irondog.org/)

Aren’t you the same herd that opposes our commercial fishing jobs, claiming I encourage slaying and consuming wild, organic healthy protein sources called “fish”? (I do.)

Aren’t you the same anti-beef screamers blogging hate from your comfy leather office chairs, wrapped in your fashionable leather belts above your kickin’ new leather pumps you bought because your celebrity idols (who sport fur and crocodile purses) grinned in a tabloid wearing the exact same Louboutins exiting sleek cowhide covered limo seats on their way to some liberal fundraiser shindig at some sushi bar that features poor dead smelly roe (that I used to strip from our Bristol Bay-caught fish, and in a Dillingham cannery I packed those castoff fish eggs for you while laughing with co-workers about the suckers paying absurdly high prices to party with the throw away parts of our wild seafood)? I believe you call those discarded funky eggs “caviar”.

Yeah, you’re real credible on this, PETA. A shame, because I’ll bet we agree on what I hope is the true meaning of your mission – respecting God’s creation and critters.

Our pets, including Trig’s best buddy Jill Hadassah, are loved, spoiled and cared for more than some people care for their fellow man whose politics may not mesh with nonsensical liberally failed ways or don’t fit your flighty standards.

Jill is a precious part of our world. So is Trig.

Sun Jan 4, 2015, 08:40 PM

I know quite a few people with service dogs, including guide dogs for blind people, and the schools in general are ultra careful about not placing dogs into abusive situations. In some cases the school retains legal ownership of the dog for several years, during which time user and dog are evaluated to make sure a) the dog is still an effective service dog or guide and b) the dog is getting the proper vet. care, nutrition etc., and is not being abused.

So I wonder what the dog's trainers think about all this.

24. Except that the Puppy Jake Foundation

Jan 2015

has only placed one dog, as of yesterday, and it wasn't with the Palin family. Their second will begin placement within a few weeks.

Not to mention the Palin's dog is not quite 1 year old (born in January 2014), and service dogs (1) generally cannot be finally certified for disposition to be a service dog before they are a year old and (2) it takes an average of 18-24 months to train a service dog.

Ms. Palin seems to have a wee bit of a problem with the truth - and Puppy Jake Foundation is finding out that the publicity associated with failing to correct her fabrication at the outset comes at a pretty high public cost. Their facebook rating went from close to 5 to 3.8 once 107 bad reviews were added when the connection to Palin became known. They have been deleting critical posts (and calls for a statement by them about how their service dog is being treated) as quickly as they can. Their IRS status is being questioned (since their mission is to provide service dogs to veterans - not, as Palin claims, individuals with disabilities). And - the breeder's facebook site has gone dark.

It is hard to see how they come out of this one intact.

You are right that Trig may well be eligible for a service dog because of his disability - but this particular dog doesn't appear to qualify for that role.

As I mentioned above, the "explanation given" is that it is Trig's service dog, but I don't know why I'd expect that to be true when they lie about practically everything else. Thanks for clearing that up

condemning the photos - and got to thinking that many service dog organizations keep some sort of hook in their dogs after placement so I went looking.

Then, of course, when I hit the denials by the Puppy Jake defenders (and their own silence) I had to dig more...

They have defenders on their page who insist it is not a Puppy Jake dog. The two links in my earlier post are from January 2, which point to their newsletter article about the first dog they placed (not with the Palins), and describe the second placement as starting in a couple of weeks (again not with the Palins). So - as of yesterday, they are claiming to have placed only one dog (with a second placement waiting in the wings).

They have been deleting critical comments, and calls for them to make a statement from their facebook page (and apparently have blocked some of the more persistent posters).

BUT on the other hand - Puppy Jake shared Palin's announcement that the dog came from Puppy Jake on their facebook on August 25 - and didn't bother to say it wasn't really true.

This article seems to have the most complete information. It looks to me as if Palin knows someone connected with Puppy Jake and had them give the dog a little basic obedience training - she decided to give kudos to Puppy Jake (and stretch the truth a little in the process), and it looked like good free publicity at the time...

Bottom line, it doesn't appear to be a Puppy Jake dog - but they went along with her earlier claim that it was in order to get the free publicity.

Someone posted that it was a service dog, which made some sense to me. I just wondered if they might have some means of recall if it was being mistreated...and when I went to check it out, every thread I pulled unraveled something.
