Felons and Bigots and Hypocrites, oh my

"I don’t think we’re (just) in Kansas anymore."

Staten Island congressman, Michael Grimm (R-N.Y.), has resigned because he pleaded guilty to felony tax fraud.

Louisiana congressman Steve Scalisi (R-La) gave a speech to a bunch of neo Nazis led by David Duke, but John Boehner is okay with that.

The GOP is urging judges to rule against ObamaCare, immigration, abortion, and a bunch of other stuff that helps to improve the lives of human beings. But most elected Republicans don’t want their fingerprints on it.

And add to that the fact that Republicans, Fox “news,” et. al. make believe that Congressman Louis Gohmert (R-TX), is sane.

Oh my. It seems like the flying monkeys have gone national. And good, patriotic, god-fearing, salt-of-the-earth folks keep voting for them.

I asked Toto if he could remember that exact quote, but all he said was "arf." I don't know what I expected. Tornadoes can set you down in strange places -- like 21st century America.
