GOP relaunches push to ban late-term abortions
By Elise Viebeck - 01/06/15 05:34 PM EST
House Republicans are renewing their effort to ban abortion after the first 20 weeks of pregnancy on the disputed premise that fetuses feel pain at that stage.
On the first day of the new Congress, Reps. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) reintroduced legislation to stop women from terminating pregnancies starting in the middle of the second trimester.
The bill, known as the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, previously passed the House in June 2013.
"More than 18,000 'very late term' abortions are performed every year on perfectly healthy unborn babies in America," Franks said Tuesday.

Like the right needs to whip up its own base...they are already batshit insane. Is this just to fire them up more (if that is possible?)

and probably more attempts to repeal the ACA, is that they won't find the time to pass the pipeline bill.

How the * does he know how healthy these late term abortions are? I'd respect these anti-abortionists if ever single stance of theirs didn't begin with a lie. He doesn't know. He is a liar.
