we might be speaking the King's English, seeing as they aided us considerably in the Revolutionary War, so much so that they suffered economically for awhile.

Not that our reich-wingers would ever do it, but if they read about the French Resistance in WWII, they couldn't possibly view them as cowards without being total hypocrites.

We as a country have been on our knees since 9/11, or at least we have allowed our leaders to stoke fear in the minds of the susceptible...
