‘Gay Tsunami’ Of Sexy TV ‘Hunks’ Will 'Drown Your Kids' In Homosexuality, Warns Anti-LGBT Activist

Children are being “bombarded” with “propaganda,” including sexy television “hunks,” aimed at convincing them there’s nothing wrong with being gay, warned an anti-LGBT activist. “Are you really aware of this avalanche sweeping across our society today?” wrote Larry Tomczak in a Christian Post column. “It’s not a trickle, it’s a tsunami!” “As ‘light’ Christians, we represent a bulwark against this tidal wave of unprecedented evil,” Tomczak said. “May all of us be found faithful and vigilant at our posts.”

Tomczak, who believes homosexuality is a learned behavior, argued that gays and their advocates intentionally inflated the number of LGBT people in the U.S. to make them seem more mainstream. “A while ago I was in New York’s Greenwich Village sharing a meal when I engaged my waiter with this question, ‘Are there a lot of gay people in the Village?’” Tomczak recalled. “With a sly smile and twinkle in his eye he retorted, ‘Everybody in the Village is gay!’”

He agreed with Focus on the Family, which argues that TV programming promotes a “gay agenda.” Tomczak cited a few specific examples, including gay characters on “Glee,” “Modern Family,” and “The Good Wife” and all the gay participants and contestants on reality TV shows. He also complained that talk show host Ellen DeGeneres “celebrates lesbianism and ‘marriage’” and invites guests such as Taylor Swift to attract young girls, and Tomczak was scandalized that talk show host Anderson Cooper “boasts openly on TV he’d rather ‘have sex’ with a man.

Tomczak also warned that the “super hyped ‘Empire’ series starts with Oscar nominee Terrence Howard having a homosexual son — and he’s a hunk.” Christians can’t just passively submit to the gay tsunami, Tomczak said. They can purchase DVDs or stream decades-old TV programming such as “Little House on the Prairie,” “Gunsmoke,” and “Leave It To Beaver,” he said. If they must watch current programs, Tomczak said Christian parents can pause shows whenever “unseemly characters ‘pop up’” and lecture their children about “God’s design for a man and a woman and the sanctity of marriage.”

I applaud anything that increases our society's acceptance of LGBT individuals, and not just "tolerance" of these relationships, but the actual celebration of these relationships, just as we celebrate and respect heterosexual relationships in our laws, by our marriage customs, and even by cheerfully acknowledging "public displays of affection," flirtation, and all the other harmless manifestations of human sexuality. Too many people have suffered because their families and their communities did not accept their sexual orientation or gender identity.
