Mayor asks Council to pass Second Amendment Resolution...
Yes. He went there...
(Mayor) Retterer expressed the need for council to pass a resolution reinforcing the U.S. and State second amendment for the right for citizens to keep and bear arms.
“I still think it is meaningful and reasonable for the village of Ada to have its own resolution to reinforce the statement of the second amendment to the United States’ Constitution and the second amendment to the constitution of Ohio, and I think we can do that,” he said. “I think there are people in the world who would take that right and many of our other rights, or maybe all of our rights from us, and just because somebody is willing to give up their right doesn’t mean that they should be able to give our rights up.”
