'The whole area is just covered in bodies': More than 2000 unaccounted for after Boko Haram torch 16

More than 2000 people are unaccounted for after radical Islamist group Boko Haram razed at least 16 towns and villages in a renewed assault.

Ahmed Zanna, a senator for Borno state, told NBC News the towns are "just gone, burned down" after the devastating attacks.

"The whole area is just covered in bodies," he said.

Both Mr Zanna and Nigerian lawmaker Maina Maaji Lawan, who spoke to the BBC, said there were more than 2000 feared dead.

For that matter, where the hell is the international community?

And why the hell does DU ignore anything that happens in Africa no matter how many thousands die???

I swear the president is in league with them, and I've suspected that from the beginning. He's sat on his hands for months doing nothing to supply the military and not reaching out to other countries or the international community for help. These monsters are taking over the country, and he's been doing nothing while just like always the western world doesn't give a shit because it's Africa.

i too believe he's working with them.

I've caught hell for saying this before but there's absolutely no other explanation for why this monstrous cult is being allowed to rampage unchecked.
