Hillary Clinton just made a big move toward a 2016 campaign

"SNIP.......................

1 - White House adviser John Podesta will head over to take a top job in Hillary Clinton's political operation next month, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal's Peter Nicholas and Colleen McCain Nelson. The news signifies that Clinton is moving closer to beginning a presidential campaign.

2 - Podesta served as White House chief of staff for Bill Clinton and president of the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank, and the head of Obama's transition to the presidency in late 2008. He has served as a top adviser in Obama's White House since December 2013.

3 - Back in September, Politico's Maggie Haberman reported that Podesta was highly likely to become Clinton's campaign chairman. This position would likely be distinct from that of the campaign manager, who would run day-to-day operations. According to multiple reports, Democratic operative Robby Mook is Clinton's likely choice for campaign manager.

4 - Meanwhile, Clinton has also hired two veterans of Obama campaigns — Joel Benenson and Jim Margolis — as her chief strategist and media adviser, the Washington Post's Anne Gearan and Philip Rucker report.

4. Democrats, however, will not decide that.

A pile of the Usual Republican Freak Show Candidates are lining up. "Romney, Santorum, and Cruz, Oh My!"

For an open Presidential seat, Democrats do not seem to have the same fire in the belly, except for Hillary. Many were rumored, but few seem to have taken the critical steps. Jim Webb formed an exploratory committee. Hillary Clinton, with this move, has all but said she is running. (If she isn't running, why the hell hire Podesta?)

There is still time for others to move into the ring, of course. But it is odd to me that thee seems less air on the Democratic side.

If other Candidates chose not to run, that vigorous primary will not happen. We have no control of that.

5. I would assume the party would encourage others, well qualified, to run against her.

Otherwise it will look like a farce, not democracy. And Hillary Clinton strikes me as someone who gets bored easily. How will she bring her A game unless there is an A primary.

for Democratic Candidates. That is not her job, anyway. Individual Candidates are the ones who decide in this age.

Warren has once again said she won't run. Sanders has yet to take the step of changing parties so that he can run in the primary. it looks, at the moment, like a Clinton Vs. Webb matchup.

I hope Schultz kicks Rubio's ass in 2016.

Is that if Hillary were to fail, we might have a chance of the third way falling with her, but a) nto worth the risk of letting a jeb or Mitt into the white house, and B) the media would keep the third way up.

6. Since the 90's Republicans have purged their ranks of center to center Right Republicans.

The third way are the old Rockefeller Republicans (socially liberal fiscally conservative) who had no place to go.

They are not going anywhere unless Republicans dump some of their extremists and slouch back towards the political center.

Basically, the campaign is over, she has dealt with all the issues vitally important to the 2016 American Voter.

Just get Bob Shrum in there and we can fast forward to the inauguration.
