You will be accused of being pro-war and be compared to those idiots and their nasty tweets.

Display the proper outrage du jour!

It presents a choice when in reality 3 soldiers received (though didn't live to accept it) a medal of honor for diving on a grenade to absorb the blast so his combat buddies weren't killed. 3/4 were for absorbing a grenade blast with the 4th in a Smedley Butler style event.

Also DU(searches) as well as me knows the Chris Kyle story long before the movie came out and he is far from the sympathetic figure the movie attempts to portray which is my main opposition.

I'm antiwar who has been to war but reality is far more complex (& simplistic) than the movie attempts to portray, I could never get behind an Iraq war film because the inaccuracies bugged me (especially Hurt Locker) until today when I started watching Generation Kill. For accuracy & honesty I recommend that 1000%. I wish I gave it a chance much earlier but I was hesistant even though I knew David Simon's name was behind it.

On edit - Samuel L Jackson was in an anti-war movie but still bugged me because of the inaccuracies.

Homicide:Life on the street TV series came from his book but it wasn't the story he wanted to tell because it dramatized the truth.

counterpart. That would be enough to cause me to walk out on the film anyway, so why bother?

You can sit there and cheer as the all American hero blows away a few ragheads.

Or you can shake your head sadly as you watch war take a normal American kid and turn him into a psychopath.

Which way do you think the average Fox News viewer will choose?
