Republican Two-faced Hypocrisy...

Last edited Wed Jan 21, 2015, 06:21 PM - Edit history (1)

Can anyone remember anything about the last six years? Does anyone remember how the Republicans obstructed everything the President proposed? And they did it against the interests of our nation and the people that supported him in two elections.

Yet, they arrogantly march in front of the C-SPAN cameras to insist that the President work with them in a "bi-partisan" way, on issues such as the KXL pipeline and tax breaks for themselves and their fellow comrades. They feign surprise that the President mentioned the word "veto". Doesn't he know what the last election was all about? It was a vote for or against the President, they say.

Never mind that their Daddy Warbucks partners, the Kochs and others, spent uncontrolled amounts of money in several states to help the Republicans win control or the Senate and expand their numbers in the House. The election in 2012 meant nothing. The election of 2014 means everything. In other words, the voters in the few states in 2014, that permitted Warbucks to win the majority in the Senate, are more important than the votes of the people in every state in the union in 2012?

The Democratic message should be, "Get real!" The President should create a PR ad, showing himself with a huge feather, once used as a quill with which to write, and just flash it to the press...

Most Democrats understand what our political enemies truly represent? Every few generations, they attempt to over-power and over-run the Democrats, their political enemies. It is a battle for nothing less than survival. It is not about pollls or how much money you might accumulate from your wealthy friends? It is about how we treat our people, thru our government actions, and cutting government programs that might be necessary for some people to survive? We say it is time for a "progressive" change.

I am still pissed off that, on mid-term election night, Mitch McConnelll was lauded as being gracious while ALG was blasted for supposedly being classless.

But during his victory speech, McConnell acted like President Obama is in the White House because he won the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes. Mitch pretty much acted like he had just been elected President. It was far more classless and disrespectful than ALG's speech by a mile.

Freedom fries again as the lies of Fox were exposed and France chose tolerance over knee jerk xenophobia.

Hypocrisy, GOP is thine name, fundies are like that.
