'Devastated' Packers Kid To Get New Bike from Seattle's Voxx Coffee

New bike might make those Packers-fan tears go away
Posted by Bob Payne

A video showing a 6-year-old Green Packers fan crying after the team’s loss to the Seahawks on Sunday has been a hit on YouTube. Now it looks like things might be looking up for the little guy.

A particularly sad moment in the video is when the boy sees Michael Bennett of the Seahawks riding around the stadium on a Seattle Police bike: “And look now they have a bicycle!” the boy exclaims amid tears.

“Once I saw it I was like ‘I gotta do something for that kid,'” says Michael Uetz, co-owner of Voxx Coffee in Seattle. He contacted the boy’s mother via messaging on YouTube, confirmed that he didn’t already have a bike, and arranged to have a shiny new one shipped to the family tomorrow, he said Tuesday.

All Uetz asked for in return is that the boy’s mother post a video of the youngster riding the new bike. “It’s exciting to do something like that for someone,” Uetz said.

Although why would the kid's parents put the initial video on youtube? That just seems mean of them.

Kierra Yarbrough did her 6-year-old son a huge favor by posting a video of him bawling his eyes out over the Packers loss -- instead of embarrassing him ... she helped him get a new bicycle!

The adorable video shows little Xavier crying a river after Green Bay's devastating defeat to the Seattle Seahawks -- and when he spotted a Seattle player riding around the field on a bicycle ... he really lost it.

Kierra was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday ... explaining why she put her son's tears on front street -- possibly opening him up to schoolyard taunting -- and it involves none other than Aaron Rodgers.

But the video's already worked a different kind of miracle -- Kierra says a local Seattle coffee shop saw the video and reached out to offer Xavier a bike of his own. Not as cool as a trip to the Super Bowl, but it will do.

You can tell that the dog is upset that his human is upset. Lovely dog! I dearly want another whippet, they are lovely dogs. As for the Pats fan, cry me a river.

I feel bad for all the Packers' fans, considering the sheer adrenalin that Hawks' fans have been feeling, even still, all this week. I haven't a doubt that most of Green Bay had that very same adrenalin pumping thru them during most of the game on Sunday, only to have such a crushing defeat come in the final minutes. Hard, very hard to take.

That poor little boy, I'm so glad that he's getting a bicycle from Seattle!

Thanks for sharing, big dog.
