I know the difference between "you're" and "your" and never confuse them with the exception of "you're welcome". This stems from the fact that I almost never actually see that phrase written down, only verbalized, so I'm never sure, in a situation where I should use it, whether I should say "you're welcome" or "your welcome".

I don't understand the fuss. Does it have to do with his cutting the education budget, then using "your" for "you're"??? As a retired English teacher, I've become exhausted by the national leaders who mix these up (both parties). There are at least a hundred such mixups with the pronunciation and misuse of words that I catch every week, just watching a few hours of TV in the evening. Otherwise, I'm going crazy trying to see what I missed. As far as I'm concerned, Jindal is an idiot. I just don't see what I missed.
