Forget the deflated footballs. There goes a squirrel with a tinfoil hat running across the White House lawn? Authorities are concerned that it may be a trained squirrel, trained to carry plastic explosives to designated tree limbs on the White House grounds?

Which of these stories should be getting the most air time on our news networks - deflated footballs or a possible terrorist squirrel? I suppose it is in the eye of the beholder?

Perhaps the cable news networks should stick to what they do best - entertainment and celebrity promotion - instead of giving us real news stories like deflated balls?
